Collection: Vortex™ Fiducial Markers - AIM Screw Bone Reference System

Vortex™ AIM Screw fiducial markers provide reliable bone reference points for guided implant surgery, enabling precise alignment between pre-surgical imaging and intraoperative digital scanning. Available in 9mm and 13mm lengths, in both Version 1 and Version 2 (Index) designs to match your scan body and workflow.

What's the difference?

Version 1: Compatible with any scan body for digital implant scanning workflows. The standard cylindrical scan body design provides flexibility across scan body options. Note: a minimum of two AIM Screws are required per scan to establish reliable orientation reference due to the cylindrical scan body geometry.

Version 2: Compatible with any scan body for digital implant scanning workflows. Designed to work with the proprietary AIM Scan Body (sold separately), which features flat sides that provide an immediate orientation reference — allowing a single AIM Screw to complete the scanning workflow. When used with alternative cylindrical scan bodies, multiple AIM Screws may be required for orientation, consistent with standard cylindrical scan body protocol.
